Complaints have been made after eggs have been persistently thrown at properties in the Stanmore area of Winchester. 

The area, which houses many students, has been put on alert by police after several complaints were made. A report has also been received from the University’s Beat Officer. 

Mary Edwards, the University’s Security and Safety Officer, said: “Anybody with information on any egg throwing incidents should contact the police immediately.”
