A brand new simulator of a working stock exchange was introduced at Winchester Business school last Wednesday.

Lecturer Bruce Meyer, London Business School, assured that this will prove a huge success in unveiling the mystery of the London market trading.

The software, TraderEx, has been used in universities both in the UK and abroad. Neil Marriott, dean of the school, reaffirmed: “It’s already a proven success, it’s used at other universities in the UK and where they’ve got it the students love it and they get to experience what it’s like to be a market trader.”

The business school, which is part of the University of Winchester, is set to use the new software from next year onwards.

Bruce Meyer, who co-founded TraderEx said: "The important thing is that we learned about markets and how traders operate is those markets. Winchester students are going to be very well positioned to work in the financial sector."
