ASSESSMENT REQUIREMENTS:

(1) Individual research project presentation. This is done in the form of a blog and you will briefed on this during the induction persiod. You must update your blog at least once a week and this will be reviewed in teaching sessions and will be continously assessed. This amounts for 25 percent of the credit for this module.

(2) Contribution to web resource. That web resource is a jointly produced journalism studies site called Journalism Now. You will be assigned to a particular media topic and will update the journalism now website appropriately. This activity amounts to 25 percent of the credit for this module.

(3) In class test. This will take the form of a simulated live news day or live news reporting exercise at the end of the module. This exercise (or series of exercises taken together) will amount to 50 percent of the credit available for this module.
